Objective: To enhance the worship experience by providing audio assistance, resulting in clear communication of the worship message and music to a large gathering of worshippers.
Supervisor: Production Manager
Tasks:

Listens and studies songs prior to Sunday worship (via Planning Center Online)

Performs proper sound checks (gain settings, monitor mixes, proper volume settings, monitor connections)

Preps pastor microphones with batteries and proper ear pieces and/or handhelds
-
Checks to make sure all batteries are charged and at the appropriate levels
-
Attends pre-service meeting with Worship Arts Director

Remains engaged at sound board
-
Follows worship order and worship leader’s direction for sound needs and/or troubleshooting

Assists with teardown of all audio equipment
-
Checks with teardown team to see if additional help is needed

Communicates with Production Manager regarding scheduling

Attends production team meetings as needed
Expectations:

Term: 1 year renewable commitment

Time: 1 month scheduled on/off' 6 hours on scheduled Sunday

Training: Sunday morning mentorship

Age Requirement: At discretion of the Worship Arts Director

Skill Requirements:

Technology savvy
-
Experience in mixing audio in a live environment OR willing to attend training and work alongside a mentor

Ability to think quickly and react/trouble-shoot properly in high stress situations
