Objective: To lead and model authentic worship for the congregation during Sunday Services as well as other special events throughout the year.
Supervisor: Worship Manager
Tasks:

Prepares all assigned songs for scheduled worship Sunday

Promptly attends Thursday night rehearsals

Arrives worship center promptly by 7am on scheduled Sundays

Attends pre-worship meeting with Worship Arts Director and worship team
-
Leads congregation in worship
-
Models sincere and authentic worship demeanor on stage

Remains and assists with tear down until it is complete

Communicates availability using Planning Center Online
Expectations:
-
Term: 1 year renewable commitment
-
Time: 1 month scheduled on/off; 6 hours on scheduled week; personal music learning time; Thursday rehearsal (2 hours)

Training: Occasional meetings and/or trainings

Enrichment: Vocal lessons recommended

Spiritual Growth: Regular worship and growth group participation encouraged
Qualifications/Skills:

Age Requirement: At discretion of the Worship Arts Director

Class System Requirement: CrossWalk 201 Vow

Skill Requirements:

Passes audition
-
Adapts musically in a worship band environment

Ablilty to learn new material by ear

Ability to memorize lyrics from lyric sheet

Able to blend vocally
-
Demonstrates a suitable style, range, blend and accurate pitch
