Worship Arts
Worship Arts Ministry at CrossWalk exists to use the arts to carry the word of Christ to the needful heart and to lead worshippers to praise and glorify God in spirit, in truth, and with gratitude in their hearts in a way that is relevant to the surrounding culture.
Worship consists of more than just music. God gives us many ways to use our time and talents to worship and serve him. Therefore, CrossWalk provides many ways for CrossWalk members to do just that. While serving on one of these teams, relationships are built with others who have the same passion for the arts as you do!
Music Team
We have a rockin' music team that leads us in worship every week with familiar Christian rock songs right off the radio. Our music volunteers are all talented musicians who have gone through an audition process to keep the quality of our worship experience one that will keep you wanting to come back.
Photography Team
Many people love to capture memories with a camera. Sitting down to look through an old family album can be a wonderful pastime. The CrossWalk photography team gets to use their talents by capturing images of Christ's love reflected through the people of CrossWalk. These moments are then shared with others in our worship and marketing materials.
Technology Team
Technology permeates nearly every aspect of life in the 21st century. At each of our worship services, we have volunteers that operate the soundboard, multimedia computer presentations, and video camera. This team provides an eye and ear catching experience that helps worshippers remain focused on God during a quality worship service.
Graphic Arts Team
Have you seen an advertisement for CrossWalk Church lately? These are fully created by the CrossWalk Graphics Arts Team! This team is a great opportunity for volunteers who like to draw or work with computer images to communicate the messages of Jesus Christ through creative efforts. Worship graphics reinforce the week's subject. An invitational print ad may encourage a visitor to try a CrossWalk service. The web images might persuade a browser to learn more about God's work at CrossWalk.
Setup Team
Not a part of Worship Arts but an extremely important part of Sunday, the Setup Team arrives at 6am with one mission - to turn a gymnasium into a worship center in 90 minutes. This is a great job for someone who loves the early morning and enjoys a good workout!
Teardown Team
After worship, we want to return ALA's campus to better than we found it! This is a great service opportunity for someone who would like to package worship and serving God into one trip! This is also a great opportunity for families to serve together. Teardown begins at 12:15pm and usually finished around 1:30pm.
