10 ways you can help foster children

Arizona is in a foster care crisis. Each of us can do something to show the love of Jesus to a foster child and the people who take care of them. Did you know we have families right here at Crosswalk that are already serving foster children? Here are some ways you can support their efforts:
1. Pray for foster and adoptive parents, children and biological families 2. Be a respite provider or babysitter 3. Provide a meal 4. Volunteer to run errands, do chores or yard work 5. Volunteer to babysit during our parent support group

Here are some ways you can help ease the burden in our state:  6. Be part of the Foster Care Review Board 7. Become a state approved, paid Parent Aide 8. Become a CASA Court Appointed Special Advocate 9. Consider becoming a foster parent 10. Mentor a teenage foster child
