God's Top 10

How do I know what I look like to God?  And, on a deeper level, should I even care what I look like to God?  Why not just make it my goal in life to make myself happy?  That way I can be my own “bottom line.”  If I think I’m good, then I am.  And if I recognize I’m not so good, then that’s up to me, and I can change what I don’t like about myself.  My standards.  My changes.  My life.

Or is there Another that I should be concerned about?  His standards.  The changes he calls for.  The life he wants me to have.  God’s Top Ten explores the issue of God’s standard for a life of love as he has revealed it in the Bible.  The Ten Commandments are both God’s mirror, showing us with great clarity what we look like to God, and his compass, pointing the way to a life of love—true love as God would have us love.
