Sacramentum
We all need fuel when we want to go somewhere or get something done. Whether it’s gassing up our car or feeding our bodies, the type of fuel we put in can make all the difference. In the series Sacramentum, we talk about the powerful fuel God has for our souls in the means of grace. As we journey through life, God uses his Word, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper to give us the exact things we need to keep running on all cylinders: grace, forgiveness, faith, hope, strength for walking with God, and the sure gift of eternal life. These are sacred gifts. It is holy fuel he gives us. And it is high octane fuel for our spirits.
