CAREPORTAL - Preventing Foster Care, Serving Foster Families
Careportal brings the needs of struggling families in our community to our attention. Through the CarePortal technology, our church can connect with real-time needs of families in the care of Arizona Department of Child Safety. CrossWalk individuals or Impact groups can work together to meet CarePortal needs. Participants can help in many ways: provide goods or services (furniture, baby items, clothing, shoes, school supplies, beds, bedding: exterminating, ac/heating service) deliver goods, attend delivery to provide outreach and evangelism, provide a truck and/or driver, provide muscles for moving furniture, share skills: handyman, auto repair. The most needed items are beds. Thankfully, whenever a twin or crib is needed, Arizona Helping Hands will provide them!
