Objective: To lead a group of students during Ignite worship time on Sunday mornings to help them connect with Jesus and other students. Champion "Grow" and "Gather".

Supervisor: Ignite Ministry Team Leader

Tasks:

• Leads a group of Middle School students during discussion time of the Ignite service

• Assists with classroom cleanliness and setup/teardown

• Helps run the weekly morning activity

• Helps maintain order during the service

• Develops relationships with youth and with other mentors and families of mentees

Expectations:

• Term: 1 year renewable commitment

• Time: 1 month scheduled on/off; availability to students throughout the week

• Training: Sunday morning mentor/shadowing

• Enrichment: Periodic mentor meetings  

• Spiritual Growth: Regular worship and growth group participation encouraged

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

• Age Requirement: 16+ years old

• Class System Requirement: CrossWalk 201 vow or Confirmation equivalent

• Skills Requirement: Passionate about helping youth

• Additional Requirement:
